Shannon Gregor

Shannon Gregor is our newest addition at Made to Measure, serving as laboratory administrator.

"This is something totally new for me. I actually want to go to school to become a Graphic Designer, but I love being a Lab Admin. It's something new and exciting that I never thought I would even get a chance to do in my lifetime. I like doing office work, and working on computers is one of my strengths and helps a lot on a daily basis."

1. What do you like most about coming to M2M every day?

The colorful workplace and all my friendly energetic co-workers!

2. What would the world be like if there were no such thing as dimensional inspection? How important is it that "everything fits"?

Everything would be falling apart! If parts such as screws and fasteners don't fit securely, the consequences could be catastrophic!

3. Put your “inventor” hat on. We need a new device that measures fun and creativity. How will it work?

It would detect your voice and the tones and pitches to determine happiness and laughter. Creativity, though, could never be measured due to its endless possibilities.

4. What do you like to do outside of work?

I'm a Cheerleading Coach for the Ridgewood High School JV Cheerleading team in Norridge, IL and there's nothing I'd rather do than spend time with my son :)

5. If you were vacationing on a sunny beach, would you people-watch, build a sandcastle, or rent a metal detector and search for buried treasure?

I'd definitely build a sand castle! I'd walk the shore and look for seashells too!
